However, if you want to convert logos and other intricate artwork to vector images, you have to ensure a resolution in the range of 700dpi to 1250dpi and more. If you want to make sure you have the right resolution after you convert to vector, zoom in on the vector image to see if the lines and curves are well defined. If the curves and lines are as close to the raster image as possible and are comfortable for you to work on, you have chosen the right resolution.
